"Sugar Daddy" culture
The “Sugar Daddy” Culture corrupts parts of Africa and spreads HIV/Aids.
The project is about the “Sugar Daddy” Culture that corrupts parts of Africa and spreads HIV/Aids.

Whilst in Malawi, I took a picture of a very young girl and an older man. Ostensibly, it is a smiling relationship. But it is one of dominance. The man grasps the girl’s hand and keeps her in place. Her look is uncertain, her body slightly twisted away. Other images were taken in an HIV/Aids ward, mother and child, Sisters and grandparents caring for Aids orphans, and then on the road across the country, showing the kid’s daily life.
